Friendly staff, well set up family room (accessible on ground floor) with small outdoor area with view of caravan park. Lots of thoughtful touches. Restaurant with lovely ocean vista. Quick boardwalk to ocean view point.
We stayed at Lancelin Sands Hotel for one night on the way back from further North. I was very impressed with the restaurant location, right on the water with beautiful views of the ocean. There is also ample space for kids to run around. The breakfast was also delicious - I have to say better than I anticipated. I had the mushroom sourdough toast with pesto and eggs, hubby had bacon and eggs and the kids had pancakes. All the meals were great. The service was also very friendly.
The hotel has been painted since the photos on Google - it’s now in tones like black, white and beige which has freshened it up and modernised it significantly.
The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.
Overall I would definitely purely recommend and stay here again!
Its an older Motel/Hotel the Management and Staff are really trying to bring it up to a good standard. Our ground floor family room was clean with courtyard for cool breeze. Pool was nice.Airconditioner worked well. Its the only Motel in town. The bar and food with lovely views over the coast is great too. Didnt have food this visit but staff friendly.
We stayed there as an overnight staycation between Perth and Pinnacles desert
The location is easy to find , quite close of the beach and quiet.
The room are functional and will allow you a nice and well deserved rest.

All I can say is if you want to splash out on a restaurant on your last night in Lancelin, DON’T go here you will be disappointed. My wife’s lamb shank came out partly cold, I ordered the herbed crayfish. It was half a cray on 2 single lettuce leafs. Disgrace.
The French waitress (Silvia I think) had an attitude the moment we sat down. The mood was horrible to say the least.
We explained to the waitress we were not happy with the meal and to possibly advertise it as a half cray in the menu and that lettuce is not a bed of herbs. She told the manager Henry and he hadn’t the decency to come over and talk to us and after her speaking to the manager she hadn’t the decency to come back to us on what the manager said. Which was “oh he said sorry that’s the menu” that’s it.
The girl taking our payment was very apologetic and friendly, maybe give her the managerial position.
This hotel holds a special place in our hearts and we come to stay every few months. |The rooms are so comfy and perfectly adequate. Nice block out curtains, bath robes, bar downstairs, and you’re only meters to the beach. |We find it perfect for a quick getaway.
